FED Lab - ODU Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship

FED Lab is an initiative of Old Dominion University’s Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship that connects established small businesses with federal agencies, prime contractors, and regional partners.

Through focused summits and conversations, participants learn about agency needs, build relationships with contracting offices, explore teaming opportunities, and address challenges that affect their ability to compete and grow in the federal marketplace.

An additional focus is helping businesses understand and use AI tools to identify relevant contracting opportunities, find potential teaming partners, and improve business processes, with attention to cybersecurity and compliance.

FED Lab is designed for businesses already working in federal contracting or positioned to pursue those opportunities, while helping agencies connect with capable suppliers and broaden their small business relationships.
